  4. My personal favorite was Jinx, by Sage Blackwood; very different from David Sedaris, but I like him a lot too!

    The best (?) literary haiku I ever wrote was a celebration of a common trope in British girls' boarding school stories (although you have to say "school" like an American, with one syllable..

    Hanging from the cliff,
    I wonder when a school girl
    Will come rescue me.

    1. Ah! My favorite book I read this year so far.... oh man, there are so many. I loved "Lizz Free or Die" by Lizz Winstead. (also "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand and "Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes. okay I'm done!)

    I'm looking for you
    And the pages of this book
    Are like paper towns

    (I'm not sure if the metre is totally correct since english isn't my first language)

  31. My favorite books so far this year are: The Death of Bees, Girl of Fire and Thorns, and Eleanor and Park. I really enjoyed all of these, and just can't choose! Though I have yet to encounter that jaw droppingly "great" book yet this year. Still reading...
