I hate horror movies unless that have all scares and no funny but I find that I can read about almost anything in a book.

I love reading Stephen King books, his short stories are great and usually pretty darn scary.
One from this collection in particular gave me the weirdest dream. It's all about this guy riding an exercise bike and looking at maps/painting a road scene on the wall and gauging where he would be in the world. Of course things get much weirder and creepier as the story progresses.

I haven't read any of the Stephen King's books. I'm too much of a chicken.

@Cozy in Texas Yeah, his stories can be really scary. The other story that really freaked me out was called THE MOVING FINGER where a finger starts appearing to poke out of a bathroom sink drain here's the Wikipedia link TheMovingFinger
