Win a copy of Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves - Describe your happy place

Slice of Cherry Giveaway
February 14 - 20
I'll be giving away a copy of Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves.

To win the giveaway just describe what your happy place would look like.

Example: My happy place would be a place filled with bookshelves for all my many books and I would have access to any book that I want at any time.  There would be a gourmet chef at my command and of course a chocolate lake/river just like in Willy Wonka.  It would also include a haven for paranormal animals, gnomes, etc to be free to be themselves and run free.

If the winner is international they will win an ebook of Slice of Cherry, if they are in the US they'll get to choose between an ebook or hardcover copy.

Rules to enter:

1.) Just leave a description of what your happy place would look like and your name and email address.  If you don't want to leave your email address leave your Twitter, or Facebook details.  Just make sure I'm able to contact you if you win.
2.) You don't have to follow the blog to win, but feel free to follow if you like what you see and leave any comments on reviews or posts that you find interesting.  :)
3.) February 20th at 11:59 PM. (Central Time) will be the last day that entries are accepted.

- Me and Tiny Reverse Vampire will pick our top two favorite entries.
- Top two entries will be posted and we'll have a poll to see who wins.
*Winner will be posted on February 25th

  1. I Really want this book!! Thanks for the great giveaway!!

My happy place would be a little reading nook with a window seat overlooking the mountains. With pillows of all different sizes and shapes. a place where I can curl up and revisit my favorite places in books. When I look up there is a million hanging lights that look like stars... Who doesn't want to read under the stars!

So there you go.. my Happy Place!

  2. What a cool way to do this giveaway! Hrrrmmm...

My happy place would be a garden... but not just any garden. The trees would grow fruit AND books. Pretty spring blooms would shower petals and all I'd have to do is tromp about plucking peaches and romance novels to my heart's content. In the middle would be a nice little grotto with a toasty firepit and a clawfooted bathtub that was always filled with the perfect temperatured water. I could soak in my tub and listen to the fire crackle while nibbling on cherries and devouring my books. At night there'd be fireflies and the occasional wolf howl in the distance. I'd have a comfy hammock to curl up in hanging from the biggest tree of all and perhaps some nightblooming jasmine to relax me into sleep.

Ugh. My happy place is too unreal. lol But I'd sure love it.

  3. This is awesome. ^_^

My happy place would be a forest glade with grass as soft as pillows, and plenty of trees around to lean against while reading and to block out those harmful rays of that pesky sun(I burn easy). Nature would be free to come and go as it pleased, the more species of animals that pass through, the better, and they wouldn't be afraid of humans, so I could interact with them. There would be a small cottage a little ways into the woods that I could live in and everything I would need to be self sufficient in or around it. At night the stars would be perfectly visible. Oh, and there would be a magic book with blank pages that would know what mood you're in and supply you with a story to read that fits your mood/tastes.

Semi-realistic. Except for the magic book.

  5. My happy place is the barn. I love horses and it's a place that I just feel so relaxed and at ease! The horses are a big part of that, of course. :) I love them so much! Thanks for the giveaway! I'm a new follower.

  8. Ok don't judge me...but my happy place would be at Hogwarts...I really have a hard time picturing any place I would rather be...well...except in a magical meadow with 30 of my top guy characters from YA and UF literature hehe...and a chocolate river flows through this meadow which is serviced by some oompa loompas. And I have a magic bookshelf that conjures up whatever books I want...and the most comfy chair in the world that can fit Me, Jace from the Mortal Instruments, Joseph Jared from the bloody jack books, and Clay from The Otherworld series...Yeah...juuuust like that...

  10. My happy place would be a cottage in the woods, next to a lake, where there's often no one else for miles, just like my grandparents cottage when I was a kid.
