Happy New Year! Here’s hoping everyone’s new year starts off great.
To start the year off right I’ve decided to take part in Parajunkee’s Book Blogger’s New Year’s Challenge.
My Blogger Resolutions:
1.) Comment more on other blogs.
1.) Comment more on other blogs.
2.) Read more from my TBR pile (because that thing is out of control.) :)
3.) Schedule posts ahead of time not just the day before.
4.) Find another reliable reviewer for the blog.
5.) Only agree to read books that I have time to read.
I agree with number 3. I usually just write a review and then just post it right away. Check out my resolutions at http://myviewpointonbooks.blogspot.com/2014/01/book-bloggers-new-years-challenge-day-1.html :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :) That probably would be a good idea too so I don't forget a lot before I review.
DeleteCommenting more is a very popular resolution today!
ReplyDeleteI also need to read more from my TBR pile (then I feel like I can justify the purchase of more books lol).
Yeah it's easy to forget to comment. Nice that's pretty much why I know I need to whittle down my TBR pile.
DeleteI totally agree with only reviewing books you have time to read. I have a hard time saying no. Have a great new years and good luck. Lacie @ Rainy Dayz Reviewz
ReplyDeleteThanks that's probably my biggest issue especially with all the ebooks that are easy to forget about. Here's hoping you have a great new year too and good luck with your resolutions. :)
DeleteScheduling posts always gets the better of me. I like to see the stuff I've written on my blog immediately so waiting for it to publish in a timely manner is frustrating for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping at my blog :)
Good luck with your resolutions and happy new year!

:) Happy New Year to you too.
DeleteI'm really bad at scheduling posts but so far this challenge is working well for me scheduling wise.
I swear my tbr pile is full of mogwi that have been eating after midnight, because it just keeps growing into a gremlin like nightmare! Good luck with all your goals in 2014!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and good luck with your goals too. :)
DeleteMogwi, yep I'm pretty sure that's what's wrong with my TBR pile too.
You kept it simple and sweet, so to speak - I love that.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like commenting more and scheduling posts are two of the top priorities for most of us bloggers. Hope it works for everyone of us.
Happy 2014!
Thanks :)
DeleteYes, here's hoping we all get better at commenting and scheduling posts.
Happy 2014 to you too.
YES about scheduling!! I'm so bad and always write posts just the day before. I totally want to change this :))
ReplyDeleteYes, scheduling is the bane of my existence too. I usually end up writing posts the day before too. Here's hoping we both can change this. :)
Delete"Only agree to read books I have time to read." Always a hard one! I'm going to try to do better at commenting too. Thanks for stopping by and good luck!
ReplyDeleteYes, because all the books always look good or at least interesting and then I run out of reading time... Good luck to you too. :)
DeleteI'm the queen of procrastination. I know the exact moment I must finish my post so that it will still hit the morning feed. (2am MST BTW) It's something that I've tried to combat and have failed horribly thus far. I'm hoping that this year will be better. *crosses fingers*
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your goals too! I hope you can find another reviewer you trust. :)
Yeah I am great at procrastinating too. Hopefully we can both get better at not procrastinating.
DeleteThanks and good luck to you too.
Yes, I hope I can find a trustworthy reviewer soon too because the ones I do find besides my sister have all disappeared.
Great goals! I failed at taking on too many books last year for review so number 5 hit home for me. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) Yes and I always feel bad if I don't find the time to review the books I get. Happy New Year to you too.
