3 gnomes and a gnome hat out of 5 gnomes
I liked this book but wow is it weird to read at first. It starts with a different point of view that takes some getting used to. Plus you don’t learn the main character’s name for quite a while.
Once you get into the groove of the weird tense changes and how the story is set up then you’ll be asking tons of questions both good and bad. Questions like, who is that and what the heck is going on?
The whole concept of White witches and Black witches is intriguing. The main character Nathan being essentially half good/half evil is what the whole book hinges on. His story and the story of his messed up family is kind of like a train wreck you just can’t look away from it.
I liked the ending but it was a bit odd the choice he made since he’s essentially obsessed with this girl the whole book but doesn’t go and get her from the evil-ish lady right away. If you like new takes on witches you should definitely check out this book.
Yes this book is interesting :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was a crazy read that's kind of hard to describe.
