Valentine's Book Blogging Mini Challenge - Day 2 – The HOTTEST scene you have ever read in a book.

I had so much fun with Parajunkee’s first challenge of the year that I’ve decided to join the Valentine’s Book Blogger Mini Challenge. If you want to join in too, you can find the info here. Day Two is – The HOTTEST scene you have ever read in a book.
The hottest scene that recently made an impression is the hand-holding scene in Eleanor & Park. It will make you look at hand-holding in a new light. If this doesn't heat your heart up then well, it might be made out of stone. Here are some quotes from the scene:

"Holding Eleanor's hand was like holding a butterfly. Or a heartbeat. Like holding something complete, and completely alive."
"How could it be possible that there were that many nerve endings all in one place?
And were they always there, or did they just flip on whenever they felt like it? Because, if they were always there, how did she manage to turn doorknobs without fainting?
Maybe this was why so many people said it felt better to drive a stick shift."
"Jesus. Was it possible to rape somebody's hand?"

"...Even in a million different pieces, Eleanor could still feel Park holding her hand. Could still feel his thumb exploring her palm...."

"He nodded, taking a deep breath. They both stared down at their hands. Jesus."

    1. Yes :) I think this book has one of the best uses of dual perspective too and the ending is pretty darn perfect especially for a YA book.

    1. :) Yes, especially the last story I didn't want it to end and I really want to know more about the daughter.

Me and my sister used to obsess over what jewel we would be and I still look at jewelry sometimes like it's the jewels.

We should start a book club/read-along and introduce more people to the series.
