Gnome Story - Sebastian Gnome

Sebastian Gnome was a very small gnome. He liked very large books, though! You could do so very many things with them. With a waterproof cover, they made a great house! They made a great platform for climbing trees to reach delicious fruit. And of course, he could read them, often while sleeping under them in the rain. His mommy and daddy gnomes sometimes told him that when he got larger, he wouldn't be able to sleep under books anymore, but Sebastian knew otherwise. Books could always get bigger, just like little gnomes!

Benny Bakes Beautifully

Benny had always done rather well in school but was never sure what he wanted to do with his life.  He thought he was just an average gnome with well average smarts.  This changed one day when on the way to work Benny got knocked unconscious rather abruptly by a rogue gem falling out of the tunnel wall.  When he woke up surrounded by his gnomish brethren he said, "Get me a potato."  With that utterance began a new restaurant concept and a new way of life for Benny.  He is now the only 5 gem chef in the Bibliognome Kingdom and the proud owner of the most popular place to dine, Gnomish Gnocchi.

Leonard Lights the Way

Leonard the gnome was always right in the middle and usually went about unnoticed.  Sometimes he feared that he might have inherited an invisible gene or two from his grandgnome.  One day though everyone had to pay attention to him.  For you see when all the lights in the Great Hall went out there was a loud squeak and then all eyes turned to Leonard whose entire body was giving off a bright green glow.
