Weekend Read

Thrilled to receive this ARC in the mail.  Can't wait to see what happens to Deuce next because she is one awesome Freak hunter

Just look at the description from Goodreads:
"Deuce’s whole world has changed. Down below, she was considered an adult. Now, topside in a town called Salvation, she’s a brat in need of training in the eyes of the townsfolk. She doesn’t fit in with the other girls: Deuce only knows how to fight.
To make matters worse, her Hunter partner, Fade, keeps Deuce at a distance. Her feelings for Fade haven’t changed, but he seems not to want her around anymore. Confused and lonely, she starts looking for a way out.
Deuce signs up to serve in the summer patrols—those who make sure the planters can work the fields without danger. It should be routine, but things have been changing on the surface, just as they did below ground. The Freaks have grown smarter. They’re watching. Waiting. Planning. The monsters don’t intend to let Salvation survive, and it may take a girl like Deuce to turn back the tide."

Weekend Read

I got approved for this book via NetGalley  (Lets just say I did a happy dance after receiving that email).   I loved the first book in the series and can't wait to see what happens to Braden next.  So far the book is really good, there is a lot happening and of course plenty of mystery.  I'm liking this one even more then the first one because you get to know the characters much better and of course more Braden and Trey time is always good.

Weekend Read

This book is definitely a worthwhile sequel, the tension and characters will just leave you racing through it. I've been reading this giant book whenever I have a free minute.  Tris, Four and everyone else are just such complex characters and really will have you rooting for them to succeed.  There are so many mysteries and questions about the factions and what they can do to fix everything that has happened.  I can't wait to finish this book and see what happens next.
