Goodbye My Batman

Adam West will always be my Batman, his Batman showed that the character doesn't have to be all dour darkness to work.

I wasn't born in the 60's when the show originally aired but saw reruns when I was younger. The show meant a lot to me because it's just so bright, positive and fun. I believe it's where I got my love of awesome alliteration and words in general. 

West just always seemed like such a jovial guy in everything that he did. I'll miss his colorful characters and unforgettable utterances.
